About Us

Essex Bulk Services is a family-run transport business committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services. Established in 2012 by the Childs family, our company has grown from a small operation to a reputable and trusted name in the industry.

Our fleet of over 100 vehicles undergo regular inspections and maintenance to ensure they are safe and roadworthy. Our skilled in-house technicians follow strict guidelines, and any defects are promptly addressed to prevent breakdowns that could compromise safety. Here at Essex Bulk Services we also service, repair and maintain vehicles commercially at our premises in Grays.

Our focus on health and safety is at the core of everything we do. We understand that the well-being of our employees, customers, and the general public is paramount, and we take every measure to ensure their safety throughout all aspects of our operations

All our drivers undergo comprehensive training before they commence driving with us. We invest in continuous training to keep them updated on the latest safety protocols and best practices. Defensive driving techniques, load securing, and operating a tanker safely are just a few of the areas we cover. To ensure our drivers are competent and trained, we have recently opened a driver training school which includes Driver CPC training and HGV license acquisition to raise the profile of HGV drivers and bring new drivers into the industry.

At Essex Bulk Services, we are proud of our family values and the commitment we have to health and safety. Our goal is to deliver exceptional transportation services while ensuring the well-being of all those who interact with our business. Safety will always remain our top priority as we continue to grow and serve our community.

We want to ensure all road users are safe and that everyone returns home unharmed at the end of each day. To ensure we are compliant we have a dedicated compliance team with a wealth of knowledge and experience with a shared vision of making the roads safer for everyone.
